Harvit Arora
Founder and Managing Director
Creator, builder, thought leader and change agent.
Harvit has worked with some of the most recognised brands in the world.
Beginning with research and development in solving a hard real-world problem, Harvit worked with a team that first commercialised mobile location services, enabling a mobile user to be geographically located when calling emergency services.
The platform today serves billions of users for all location services use cases on mobile and IoT devices.
Following the success from his R&D days, Harvit’s mindset was then indoctrinated to think of technology, only as a utility to solve real world problems and to push or augment human endeavour with the development of creative applications.
Harvit has subsequently shaped his entire career to define what’s possible and deliver all or part of the same.
Some of the many highlights of Harvit’s career follow.
Harvit has successfully helped establish a start up in Australia in the telecommunications sector, building Australia’s first managed service for revenue assurance and assisting one of the Australia’s largest telecoms companies arrest millions of dollars of revenue leakage for their commercial business arm.
He spent eight years working consecutively with two of Australia’s largest retail banks. Introducing concepts and value, attributed to big-data architectures for simplifying and scaling quantitative risk modelling and analysis. Evangelising concepts of product development with agile methodologies, cloud native software engineering principles to drive efficiencies in development, project and program management including driving down associated delivery risk.
Harvit managed multi-million dollar projects and constructed business cases and strategy for programs of work measured in 10’s of millions of dollars to drive operational efficiencies across the business functions of Group treasury including all considerations for regulation and compliance at a global level.
At this time, Harvit also acquired knowledge about monetary and fiscal policies and the history, structure, dealings and flows of the global monetary and banking systems.
More recently Harvit’s gone back to his roots, working for technology companies. Only this time to help customers utilise technology to differentiate or drive operational efficiencies across their business value chains.
Harvit’s was ultimately responsible for driving business development, alliances, go to market initiatives and thought leadership across multiple disciplines; to more effectively pursue and close opportunities across large enterprise accounts.
Harvit is a Computer Scientist and Software Engineer and has a B.Sc., Computer Science from Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand.
